GoorooLink is an all-integrated platform software that augments LIOBOX² hardware support with specific DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, QLab) and also enables seamless LIOBOX² configuration.

GoorooLink is a companion software designed to enhance the LIOBOX² experience.

The BRIDGE app allows using the native and advanced features of the LIOBOX² with DAWs that do not offer scripting capabilities, such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase or QLab.

Moreover, while the LIOBOX² offers a wide array of powerful features, managing all its settings directly on the device can be time-consuming. GoorooLink simplifies this process by allowing efficient management of setlists, pads, and configuration settings from a Mac.

Additionally, the software supports seamless exporting and importing of configurations, ensuring flexibility and convenience in managing your LIOBOX² setup.

A typical and practical use case consists of saving (exporting) a predefined configuration and copying it (by importing) onto all your LIOBOXes, therefore saving a lot of manual operations while preparing the show.

Cross compatibility​

To manage cross compatibility between the LIOBOX² firmware, script versions and GoorooLink software versions, GoorooLink is synchronized with the Gooroo Controllers servers.

This makes it possible to check that the ecosystem is able to work properly, and proposes updates if a mismatch is detected. See Auto-updates for more information.

It is highly recommended to always keep your LIOBOX², scripts and GoorooLink up to date to benefit from the latest features and bug fixes.

Getting started​

The macOS application comes with a self-installer (.dmg):

  1. Launch the .dmg file.
  2. Drag and drop the GoorooLink shortcut to the Applications folder.

Then read the user interface overview.
